Church and hospital damaged and ten people wounded during nighttime missile attack on Kherson

“Yesterday, at around 11 p.m., Russian occupiers shelled a healthcare facility in Kherson. Enemy shells shattered windows and doors, destroyed the roof, and damaged an ambulance. Fortunately, no one was injured,” according to a statement from the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
According to the report, the number of victims of the shelling of Kherson with MLRS has increased to 10 people. Another man who was injured during the night due to Russian shelling of the central part of Kherson required medical assistance. The 67-year-old Kherson resident was diagnosed with blast trauma and a shrapnel wound to his leg. The victim will be treated on an outpatient basis. A 73-year-old Kherson resident was also taken to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with blast trauma, post-concussion syndrome, and a leg contusion. The victim is under medical supervision.
The Holy Spirit Cathedral was also damaged during the attack on the city, according to the charity and social service department of the Kherson diocese.
“One of the shells hit the roof of the cathedral, another fell on the temple grounds, damaging the chapel in honor of the icon of the Holy Mother of God, ' Life-Giving Spring,' the bell tower, and windows in the premises of the Kherson diocesan administration and utility rooms. There were no casualties," the statement said.
At 7:30 a.m., Russian troops attacked the city again. According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, a 66-year-old woman who was at home was hit by enemy fire. She suffered post-concussion syndrome, blast injury, and closed head injury. An ambulance took the victim to the hospital in moderate condition.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Russians attacked Kherson with multiple launch rocket systems, leaving eight people injured.
