One person killed and 14 wounded in Russian shelling in Kharkiv region

One man was killed and 14 people were wounded in Russian shelling in the Kharkiv region over the past 24 hours.

This was reported by the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

"Over the past day, the city of Kharkiv and five settlements in the Kharkiv region were hit by enemy strikes. As a result of the shelling, one person was killed and 14 were injured. In the village of Baranivka, Zolochiv community, a 35-year-old man was killed, and men aged 31, 33, and 49 were injured. In the village of Spodobivka, Shevchenkove community, a 19-year-old and a 25-year-old man were injured. In the village of Kivsharivka, Kupiansk community, an 83-year-old man was injured; an 82-year-old woman was injured in the village of Shevchenkove. A 39-year-old man and women aged 47, 54, 66, 79, and 80 were injured in the city of Lozova; a 44-year-old man was injured in the village of Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi in the Kupiansk community," Syniehubov said.

According to him, the enemy struck the region with 10 KAB missiles, three FPV drones, and one UAV, the type of which is being determined.

As a result of the shelling, windows of a dormitory were damaged in Kharkiv, private houses were damaged in the Kupiansk and Lozova districts, and a car was damaged in the Bohodukhiv district.

The Head of the Regional Military Administration added that 223 combat clashes were recorded over the past day.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the enemy stormed the positions of Ukrainian units eight times near the settlements of Odradne, Kamianka, and Bolohivka. In the Kupiansk direction, there were 11 attacks by the occupiers during the day. The Defense Forces repelled the enemy's assault in the areas of the settlements of Stepova Novoselivka, Kupiansk, Petropavlivka, and toward Mala Shapkivka and Pishchane.

As reported by Ukrinform, Russian troops struck Lozova in the Kharkiv region with a new type of guided aerial bomb that flew 130 kilometers.
