Drones strike gas processing plant in Volgograd region overnight — CCD

On the night of October 9, drones struck the LUKOIL-Korobkivskyi gas processing plant in the city of Kotove, Volgograd Region, Russian Federation.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Telegram by Andrii Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
According to him, this facility is critical for Russia's oil and gas infrastructure: it provides processing and transportation of gas condensate, as well as production of raw materials for the chemical industry.
The plant is part of the fuel supply system for the domestic market of the Russian Federation, as well as for export, Kovalenko noted.
As reported by Ukrinform, on October 6, drones attacked the Antypino microdistrict in Tyumen (Russia), in particular, the local oil refinery was hit.
