Russian drone attacks car belonging to energy workers in Sumy region
This was reported by Sumyoblenergo JSC on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“Today in Bilopilia, a Russian drone targeted a brigade vehicle belonging to Sumyoblenergo JSC. Fortunately, there were no power engineers in the vehicle, so no one was injured. The brigade was just about to leave to repair the power lines,” the statement said.
The company added that since the start of the full-scale invasion, 31 Sumyoblenergo JSC service vehicles have been damaged by shelling. Nine of them are beyond repair.
As reported, Russian invaders attacked one of DTEK's thermal power plants, injuring two power engineers.
The Russians also struck again at an energy facility in the Nizhyn district of Chernihiv region, leaving more than 4,500 subscribers without power.
