Ukrainian intelligence hacks into servers of occupying administration in Crimea

Cyber experts from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense have once again gained full access to all computers and servers of the self-proclaimed administration of temporarily occupied Crimea.

After infiltrating the system, they managed to obtain more than 100 TB of intelligence data, including official correspondence of the so-called “head of Crimea” Sergey Aksyonov and work documents and correspondence between ministries and services of the occupying “government of Crimea.” This was reported to Ukrinform by a knowledgeable source in intelligence.

According to him, the data obtained includes a large number of documents on the illegal transfer of Ukrainian children from the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions. Lists of minors who were taken by the occupying administration to the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea and the Russian Federation (personal data of children, data on guardians and their places of residence/study) were obtained.

This information was forwarded to law enforcement agencies for investigation of war crimes related to the abduction of Ukrainian children.

It was also possible to obtain a lot of information concerning the so-called “Special Military Operation” ("SVO"), in particular lists of Russian military personnel with personal data and information about relatives, as well as lists of prisoners and those killed, decisions on the payment of so-called “funeral allowances,” and applications from “SVO participants” requesting land plots in Crimea.

Individual files of official correspondence between the ministries of the occupying administration of Crimea and documents on numerous meetings confirm the fact of a shortage of fuel and lubricants after strikes on Russian oil refineries.

According to a source in the Main Intelligence Directorate, this is the second successful intrusion into the servers of the occupying administration in Crimea in recent months. After the previous operation, representatives of the FSB visited the “gauleiter of Crimea,” Aksyonov, and his subordinates to find the spy, but were unable to do so.
