Civilian killed in Kherson region due to Russian artillery shelling

A 54-year-old resident of Bilozerka in the Kherson region was killed as a result of Russian artillery shelling.

This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

“According to the investigation, on the night of September 14, Russian troops carried out artillery shelling of the village of Bilozerka in the Kherson region. As a result of the attack, a 54-year-old resident who was in the yard of his own house was killed,” the statement said.

The Prosecutor's Office has launched a pre-trial investigation into the war crime that led to the death of a person (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, a 59-year-old resident of Bilozerka, who was hit by a Russian drone on September 13, was taken to the hospital. The woman suffered a mine-blast injury, concussion, and post-concussion syndrome.

As reported by Ukrinform, after a Russian air strike on the village of Ingulets in the Kherson region, the body of a deceased woman was found under the rubble of a house, and five other women were injured.
