Russian forces shelled the city of Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region, injuring two civilians—a woman and a man.

The head of the Kramatorsk City Military Administration, Oleksandr Honcharenko, reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

“At 10:41 today, Kramatorsk came under enemy fire, with the industrial zone being targeted. Two people were injured: a man born in 1966 and a woman born in 1959. We are currently assessing the full impact of the strike,” Honcharenko wrote.

The Kramatorsk City Council reported on Facebook that Russian troops carried out two airstrikes on the city using aerial bombs.

As a result, an administrative building belonging to a state institution was damaged, with windows shattered by the blast wave. No staff members were injured, the council confirmed.

Officials called on residents not to ignore air raid alerts and to head to shelter as soon as a threat is reported.

“The occupiers continue their terror against civilians, but all emergency services are working at the scene,” the council stated.

As previously reported, Russian forces killed four civilians and wounded ten others in the Donetsk region on September 7.
