Russia’s war casualty toll in Ukraine up by 780 over past day

The total combat losses of Russian forces in the war against Ukraine from February 24, 2022, to September 3, 2025, have reached 1,084,570 personnel, including 780 in the past 24 hours.

Ukrinform reports this citing the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.

In addition, Russian forces have lost 11,157 (+1) tanks, 23,237 (+4) armored combat vehicles, 32,342 (+41) artillery systems, 1,477 (+0) multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), 1,213 (+0) air defense systems, 422 (+0) aircraft, 341 (+0) helicopters, 55,784 (+338) operational-tactical UAVs, 3,664 (+0) cruise missiles, 28 (+0) warships/boats, one (+0) submarine, 60,600 (+112) vehicles and fuel tanks, 3,956 (+4) units of special equipment.

The figures are subject to verification.

As reported by Ukrinform, as of September 2 at 22:00, there were 122 combat engagements on the front.
