Woman killed in Russian shelling in Zaporizhzhia region

A 46-year-old woman was killed as a result of Russian artillery shelling in the Polohy district, Zaporizhzhia region.

Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"The enemy shelled the village of Novodanylivka with artillery, striking residential areas. A local resident was killed," Fedorov said.

On August 19, Russian forces carried out 583 attacks on 11 settlements across the Zaporizhzhia region.
