Teenager wounded in shelling of Kherson community

In the Kherson community, in the village of Molodizhne, a teenager was wounded and more than 20 houses were damaged as a result of Russian shelling.

The Kherson City Military Administration reported the incident, according to Ukrinform.

“At around 5:30 a.m., Russian occupation forces shelled the village of Molodizhne. A 16-year-old boy suffered mine-blast trauma, acute stress reaction, and shrapnel wounds to his arms and legs,” the report said.

It is noted that the victim was taken to a medical facility for assistance.

Head of the Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin clarified that Russian troops shelled Molodizhne with artillery, and a 16-year-old boy was injured when a shell hit a house. Doctors assess the victim's condition as medium severity.

Photos of the destruction were posted on Facebook by the Kherson City Military Administration.

“At around 5:30 a.m., the enemy shelled the village of Molodizhne in the Naddnipryanske district. As a result of the shelling, more than 20 houses were damaged,” the post said.

According to Ukrinform, on August 12, a 59-year-old man was wounded in a shelling of Molodizhne in the Kherson community.
