Enemy sabotage and reconnaissance activity decreases along the border

Ukrinform
Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups have significantly reduced their activity on the border, especially in the Sumy region.

This was reported on television by Andrii Demchenko, spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, according to a correspondent for Ukrinform.

"Currently, there are significantly fewer enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups. We are not recording as many incidents as before, when these groups were quite active, especially in the Sumy region. However, the threat never completely disappeared in the Kharkiv region, where enemy saboteurs were exposed this year, nor in the Chernihiv region,” said Demchenko.

According to the spokesman, Russian occupiers may resort to using sabotage and reconnaissance groups again at any moment.

Demchenko also commented on the situation on the border with the Russian Federation in general.

"The situation on the border with Russia is, of course, not simple and is primarily characterized by shelling in the Chernihiv, Kharkiv, and Sumy regions.

Most of the shelling is taking place within the Sumy region, where the enemy continues to use all available weapons, including aviation, dropping guided bombs and striking with unguided missiles," the spokesman said.

He emphasized that the enemy is also quite active in using FPV drones and fiber optic drones.

According to Ukrinform, Russian troops are increasing the intensity of shelling in the border areas of the Sumy region, increasingly using combat aircraft.
