Russian troops are massively transferring tanks, armored vehicles, personnel, and ammunition to the Zaporizhzhia sector. This is the largest reinforcement of the occupation forces in the region in July-August.

According to Ukrinform, Petro Andriushchenko, Head of the Center for the Study of the Occupation and former advisor to the Mayor of Mariupol, reported the update on the situation on Telegram and also published relevant photos and videos.

"Yesterday, throughout the evening and night, the Russians were massively transferring tanks, trucks with combat units and manpower, and armored vehicles to the Zaporizhzhia sector. At least 15 trawlers with tanks and 10 with other types of armored vehicles, over 30 trucks with combat units. Plus fuel tankers. This is the largest reinforcement in the Zaporizhzhia region in July-August," Andriushchenko emphasized.

Also, according to Andriushchenko, there have been reports of military equipment moving from the Berdiansk sector to the north of the Donetsk region—tanks, armored personnel carriers, and artillery are moving in organized convoys under the protection of military commandants/police. The movement takes place late at night.

“In total, up to 15 units on trawls,” Andriushchenko said.

In addition, he noted the organized large-scale transfer of units based in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea to the north of the Donetsk region between Wednesday and Friday.

“In total, from a brigade to a regiment, according to external observations,” he said.

Andriushchenko therefore concludes that the Russians are significantly strengthening the Pokrovsk sector and, unexpectedly, the Zaporizhzhia sector. “Compared to previous weeks of relative calm, the Russian army has begun actively moving reserves,” he concluded.
