Russian artillery strike on Nikopol kills one, injures another

Russian forces shelled the city of Nikopol in Ukraine's southeastern Dnipropetrovsk region with artillery, killing one person and injuring another
Regional governor Serhii Lysak said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
The strike destroyed a house and damaged several nearby private homes and outbuildings.
Rescuers pulled the body of a 56-year-old woman from the rubble of the destroyed house.
A 62-year-old man was hospitalized in serious condition.
Earlier, Lysak said Russian troops carried out about 40 attacks on communities in the Nikopol and Synelnykove districts over the course of the day, injuring four people.
