Russian army loses 1,120 more invaders in war against Ukraine

The total combat losses of Russian troops since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, from February 24, 2022, to August 5, 2025, amount to about 1,058,260 people, of which 1,120 were lost yesterday.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the update on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
Russian troops also lost 11,071 (+2) tanks, 23,091 (+12) armored combat vehicles, 31,081 (+28) artillery systems, 1,452 (+0) multiple launch rocket systems, 1,203 (+0) air defense systems, aircraft – 421 (+0), helicopters – 340 (+0), tactical UAVs – 49,620 (+169), cruise missiles – 3,555 (+2), ships/boats – 28 (+0), submarines – 1 (+0), vehicles and fuel tankers – 57,337 (+93), special equipment – 3,935 (+0).

As reported by Ukrinform, on August 4, as of 22:00, there were 144 combat clashes with Russian troops on the frontline.
