Sumy region under fire: 60 Russian strikes in 24 hours, civilian casualties reported

Sumy and Shostka districts suffered the highest number of enemy attacks.
The Russian invaders heavily used guided aerial bombs, with over 20 strikes recorded using such weapons. They also attacked with FPV drones, other unmanned aerial vehicles, and missiles.
In Znob-Novhorodske community, a multi-apartment residential building and a private car were damaged by Russian strikes. One woman, born in 1982, was killed in one of the attacks. Another woman, born in 1965, was wounded.
In Sumy community, a government administrative building was damaged by enemy shelling.
An air raid alert in the region lasted 15 hours and 22 minutes.
Over the past day, 22 people were evacuated from border communities by local authorities in coordination with the State Emergency Service, National Police, and public organizations.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, 38 settlements in Kherson region came under Russian attack in the past 24 hours, leaving six people injured.
