Missile attack on Cherkasy causes fires and injures six people

According to Ukrinform, the Head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Ihor Taburets, reported this on Telegram.

“Missile attack on the regional center. We have several fires across the city. According to preliminary data, six people have been injured,” the publication says.

All relevant services are working, Ihor Taburets notes.

Later, the Head of the Regional Military Administration updated the information.

“The situation is under control. According to rescuers, all fires have been extinguished. There is no threat to the population,” Ihor Taburets wrote on his Telegram channel.

As reported by Ukrinform, several powerful explosions were heard in Cherkasy during the heightened threat of a missile attack.
