Russia’s war casualty toll in Ukraine up by 1,050 over past day

The total combat losses of Russian forces in Ukraine from February 24, 2022, to July 5, 2025, are estimated at approximately 1,025,260 personnel, with 1,050 eliminated in the past 24 hours alone.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

In addition to personnel losses, Russian forces have lost 10,990 (+2) tanks, 22,953 (+7) armored fighting vehicles, 29,921 (+56) artillery systems, 1,428 (+0) multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), 1,191 (+0) air defense systems, 420 (+0) aircraft, 340 (+0) helicopters, 43,609 (+306) tactical UAVs, 3,439 (+3) cruise missiles, 28 (+0) warships / boats, one submarine, 54,148 (+149) vehicles and fuel trucks, 3,925 (+0) units of special equipment.

The General Staff notes that the data are being updated.

As reported by Ukrinform, on July 4, as of 22:00, Ukraine’s Defense Forces had 136 combat engagements with Russian forces along the front line.
