Russia’s casualty toll in Ukraine war up to 1,070

Total combat casualties suffered by Russian troops from February 24, 2022 to June 30, 2025 in the war against Ukraine amount to an estimated 1,020,010, including 1,070 killed or wounded in action over the past 24 hours.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook, Ukrinform saw.

Russian troops also lost 10,980 tanks (+4 in the past day), 22,922 (+7) armored fighting vehicles, 29,718 (+29) artillery systems, 1,427 (+2) MLR systems, 1,190 (+1) air defense systems, 420 warplanes, 340 (+3) helicopters, 42,796 (+172) operational and tactical-level UAVs, 3,436 (+42) cruise missiles, 28 warships/cutters, a submarine, 53,593 (+85) vehicles and fuel tankers, and 3,921 units of specialized equipment.

The latest casualty reports are being verified.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on June 29, as of 22:00, there were 104 combat clashes along the frontlines. In temporarily occupied Crimea, Ukraine’s Defense Forces destroyed a Russian Pantsir S1 anti-aircraft missile system and three helicopters.
