
Russia reports drone attacks, including on Moscow

Explosions were heard across the Moscow region, prompting the temporary closure of Vnukovo Airport, which was later reopened.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced that three drones had been allegedly shot down in the Moscow region. He stated that there were no serious damage or casualties resulting from the UAV strike.
Later, reports confirmed that one of the drones damaged a residential building in the Mirax Park complex in southwestern Moscow. Sobyanin reiterated that there were no major injuries or significant destruction at the scene.
Meanwhile, published photos from the attack site show visible damage to the building’s facade.
Astra, citing local sources, reported that the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces is located 800 meters from the Mirax Park residential complex.
The Shot Telegram channel stated that residents of Odintsovo, the Moscow region, reported hearing a loud explosion in the sky above the city at approximately 01:30 local time on Thursday.
Later, a video emerged showing the moment a drone crashed into a residential building in Odintsovo. Debris from the UAV fell near the house, damaging several cars.
According to BBC News Russian, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that 48 drones were downed between Wednesday evening and Thursday night.
According to the defense ministry of the aggressor country, air defense systems allegedly destroyed 30 UAVs over the Belgorod region, four over the Oryol and Ryazan regions, three in the Moscow area, two over the Bryansk region, one over the Tambov region, and four over temporarily occupied Crimea.
