Mykolaiv shows aftermath of Russia’s drone attack

Twenty residential buildings in Mykolaiv were damaged in a Russian drone attack involving Shahed-type UAVs, with three floors completely destroyed in one of them.

This was reported on Telegram by Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych, according to Ukrinform.

“We’ve been working at the impact sites for the second day now. A total of 20 residential buildings in two districts of Mykolaiv were damaged in the attack. In one building, the 3rd and 4th floors were completely destroyed, and the 5th floor was partially destroyed. In others, windows were shattered, and balconies and roofs were damaged,” Sienkevych wrote.

He added that once the demolition of damaged structures in the multi-story building is completed, municipal workers will continue boarding up windows and cleaning the area.

As reported earlier, overnight on May 25, Russian forces attacked Mykolaiv with drones. Two people were killed and six others were injured. Three victims remain hospitalized in stable but serious condition.
