Homes, vehicles, and garages damaged in Odesa region following drone attacks

On the night of Monday, May 26, a series of fires and destruction occurred in private households across the Odesa region following Russian drone strikes.

According to Ukrinform, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) reported this on Facebook.

In the Odesa district, the attacks caused structural damage and sparked a fire in a residential building covering 100 square meters. Emergency responders swiftly extinguished the blaze. Additionally, the strikes damaged roofs of residential buildings, an outbuilding, two garages, three vehicles, a fence, and a gas pipeline.

At another location, two garages were destroyed in the attack, leading to subsequent fires. A vehicle was completely ruined, and a residential building sustained damage.

Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported, the SES confirmed.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, during the early hours of May 25, Ukraine’s air defense forces intercepted 45 Russian cruise missiles and neutralized 266 out of 298 drones.
