Two Kalibr missile carriers combat-ready in Black Sea

Two Russian Kalibr missile carriers are currently deployed in the Black Sea, with a combined missile volley capacity of up to 12. Meanwhile, no Russian warships have been reported in the Sea of Azov.

This update was shared in operational information posted on the Navy's official Facebook page, Ukrinform reports.

“There are two enemy ships in the Black Sea, both carrying Kalibr cruise missiles, with a total strike capacity of up to 12 missiles. No enemy ships are present in the Sea of Azov,” the military reported.

Additionally, the Ukrainian Navy confirmed that three Russian warships are operating in the Mediterranean Sea, one of which is armed with Kalibr cruise missiles, capable of launching up to eight missiles.

The military reported that throughout the day, 10 vessels transited the Kerch Strait in service of Russian interests. Of these, 10 entered the Black Sea, with eight continuing their journey toward the Bosphorus, while seven vessels entered the Sea of Azov, five of which had arrived from the Bosphorus.

Earlier, Ukrinform reported North Korea’s newest warship sustained damage during its launch ceremony, attended by leader Kim Jong Un.
