In Zaporizhzhia, scientists accidentally discovered a downed Russian Molniya-2 drone on the banks of the Dnipro River near the village of Rozumovka. The drone had been neutralized by Ukrainian air defense forces.

Zaporizhzhia-based biologist and local historian Valerii Kiemienov reported the discovery on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

"These are the kinds of finds we come across in these times. An enemy UAV -- damaged and shot down. […] Glory to Ukraine's Defense Forces! The Molniya-2 strike drones are FPV aircraft capable of covering over 30 kilometers," Kiemienov wrote.

The police have been informed about the discovery.
