Ukrainian drones have reached the Urals in Russia for the first time, covering a record distance.

This was reported on Telegram by Serhii Sternenko, adviser to Ukraine’s Minister of Defense on improving the effectiveness of drone use at the front, according to Ukrinform.

According to him, in Yekaterinburg, Russian electronic warfare systems redirected a drone into a residential building. Six people were injured.

Explosions were also heard in Chelyabinsk, Sternenko said.

“Propagandists are complaining that during 10 hours of flight, the drones did not encounter any air defense response. The distance from Ukraine is over 1,800 km. And this is not the limit,” the Defense Ministry adviser emphasized.
