Two civilians killed, four injured in Russian attacks on Sumy region

The Sumy Regional Police reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

The post states that two civilians were killed and two others injured in the Krasnopillia community following Russian strikes. The attack also led to the destruction of 26 private homes and damage to 30 more. A multi-story residential building, a store, and a cultural center suffered severe damage, along with three outbuildings.

Early on March 22, Russian forces launched another strike using guided aerial bombs, destroying six more households in the same area.

In the Seredyna-Buda community, shelling left two civilians wounded, damaging a car and a private home.

The Nyzhnia Syrovatka community also sustained extensive destruction, with 35 homes, three outbuildings, 12 vehicles, and two tractors damaged.

Additional damage was reported in other settlements, including infrastructure facilities, an educational institution, a gas station, and two more residential buildings.

Criminal proceedings have been initiated under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (war crimes).
