Ukraine war update: 138 clashes in past 24 hours, heavy fighting in Pokrovsk, Kursk sectors

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

According to updated information, Russian forces launched three missile strikes and deployed 150 guided aerial bombs against Ukrainian positions and civilian areas.

Additionally, Russian troops conducted over 5,200 shelling attacks, including 147 strikes using multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), and deployed 2,283 kamikaze drones.

Russian aircraft targeted several locations, including Yanivka, Yunakivka, and Loknia in the Sumy region, Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, Druzhkivka, Pokrovsk, Leontovychi, Novopil, and Shevchenko in the Donetsk region, Zaliznychne, Huliaipole, and Novoandriivka in the Zaporizhzhia region, and the city of Kherson.

Ukrainian missile and artillery forces struck 14 areas where Russian troops and military equipment were concentrated, as well as two enemy artillery units.

In the Kharkiv sector, Ukrainian forces repelled two Russian attacks near Vovchansk.

In the Kupiansk sector, Russian troops launched eight assaults, with Ukrainian defenders repelling attacks near Petropavlivka, Stepova Novoselivka, and Zahryzove.

In the Lyman sector, seven Russian assaults were repelled near Myrne, Kolodiazi, and Hrekivka.

In the Siversk sector, nine enemy assaults were stopped near Verkhniokamianske, Bilohorivka, and Ivano-Darivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, one clash occurred near Chasiv Yar.

In the Toretsk sector, Russian forces carried out 19 attacks near Toretsk, Leonidivka, Druzhba, and Ozarianivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 45 Russian assaults near Vodiane Druhe, Yelyzavetivka, Novotoretske, Promin, Datchenske, Novoukrainka, Shevchenko, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novooleksandrivka, Nadiivka, and Andriivka.

In the Novopavlivka sector, Russian troops launched ten attacks near Kostiantynopil, Rozlyv, and Burlatske.

In the Huliaipole sector, Ukrainian forces repelled eight enemy assaults near Pryvilne and Novodarivka.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian troops successfully pushed back six Russian attacks near Piatykhatky, Kamianske, and towards Novoandriivka.

In the Dnipro River sector, no significant offensive actions were reported.

In Russia's Kursk region, Ukrainian defenders repelled 17 Russian attacks. Russian forces launched 334 artillery strikes on the region, including 12 MLRS attacks, and dropped 33 guided aerial bombs.

On the Volyn and Polissia axes, there were no signs of Russian forces forming offensive groups.
