
Russian forces bomb apartment buildings in Kostiantynivka, casualties reported
The Donetsk regional police announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"Several buildings caught fire after the strikes, trapping people in flames and smoke. A 51-year-old couple is reported dead, with their bodies likely still under the rubble," the statement said.

Among the wounded are a 72-year-old man and four women aged 58, 70, 75, and 88, all of whom were inside their homes during the attack. They suffered concussions, traumatic brain injuries, and various wounds. Police paramedics provided first aid and evacuated them to the hospital.
The attack damaged 14 civilian sites, including six apartment buildings, a pharmacy, a store, five civilian vehicles, and a gas pipeline.
The Prosecutor General's Office reported that Russian forces shelled Kostiantynivka, Druzhkivka, and Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka multiple times during the day. At least two people were killed, and 12 others, including two children, were injured.
In Druzhkivka, Russian troops likely used a UMPB D-30 SN glide bomb. Two boys, aged 8 and 9, sustained blast and shrapnel injuries and were taken to the hospital.
In Kostiantynivka, Russian FAB-250 bombs with UMPK guidance kits hit densely populated residential areas.
According to prosecutors, the attacks damaged around 90 private homes and multi-story buildings, 14 vehicles, a store, a pharmacy, garages, power lines, and a gas pipeline across the Donetsk region.
Earlier reports said that Russian forces also struck Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad, killing three people and injuring two others.
