
Over 40 explosions as Russians strike Sumy border overnight and in morning
According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Facebook by the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
“At night and in the morning, Russians fired 16 times at the border areas and settlements of Sumy region. 44 explosions were recorded. Sumy, Yunakivka, Bilopilia, Krasnopilia, Velykopysarivka, Esman communities were shelled,” the statement said.
It is noted that the Esman community was shelled with MLRS (15 explosions) and FPV drones (three explosions). Three private houses were damaged as a result of the hits.
The Russians fired at Yunakivka community with SAU artillery (three explosions) and launched guided aerial bombs (four explosions).
The Krasnopilia community was hit by an FPV drone (one explosion), and the Russians dropped 12 mines on the Velykopysarivka community.
Attacks by enemy UAVs were recorded in the Sumy community (two explosions). Residential infrastructure and non-residential buildings were damaged there.
An explosive ordnance was dropped from a UAV in Bilopilia community (two explosions).
As reported, at night, Russians attacked Sumy with a drone, causing damage to an office building.
