War update: over 100 clashes on frontline in past 24hrs, most battles in Kursk region

In the past 24 hours, as many as 101 combat clashes were reported on the frontline, with the highest number – 29 – occurring in Kursk region.

This was reported by the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

"A total of 101 combat clashes were reported over the past day. The aggressor carried out airstrikes, particularly in the areas of Loknia, Stavky, Novoyehorivka, Kostiantynivka, Pokrovsk, Myroliubivka, Udachne, Yablunivka, Voskresenka, Staromlynivka, Zelene Pole, Zaliznychne, Novopil, Chervona Krynytsia, Omelnyk, Yehorivka, Novoraisk, and Chervonyi Mayak," the report states.

In the Kharkiv sector, the Ukrainian forces repelled two enemy attacks near Bochkove and Krasne Pershe.

In the Kupiansk sector, two enemy assaults were repelled near the settlements of Zahryzove and Ivanivka.

In the Lyman sector, the enemy attacked 13 times, attempting to advance near Novoliubivka, Ivanivka, and Yampolivka.

In the Siversk sector, one enemy assault was recorded near Bilohorivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, three combat clashes occurred near Chasiv Yar, Stupochky, and Predtechyne.

In the Toretsk sector, the enemy launched 13 attacks near Krymske and Toretsk.

In the Pokrovsk sector, the Ukrainian forces halted 21 Russian assaults near Oleksandropil, Lysivka, Promin, Dachenske, Preobrazhenka, Kotlyne, Ulakly, and Andriivka.

In the Novopavlivka sector, the enemy attacked seven times, attempting to break through toward Kostiantynopil, Burlatske, and Skudne.

In the Huliaipole sector, the Russian forces attempted an advance toward Pryvilne.

In the Orikhiv sector, the Ukrainian defenders repelled four enemy attacks near Stepove and Nesterianka.

In the Kursk operational zone, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 29 Russian attacks. Additionally, the enemy carried out 13 airstrikes using 17 glide bombs and conducted 308 artillery strikes on the Ukrainian positions and settlements, including 17 multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) attacks.

In the Prydniprovske sector, no enemy assault operations were reported.

No signs of enemy offensive group formations were ted in the Volyn and Polissia sectors.

According to the General Staff, on Monday, the Russian forces carried out 56 airstrikes, dropping 104 guided bombs, and deployed 2,638 kamikaze drones. They also conducted over 5,100 artillery shellings, including 186 MLRS strikes.

“Ukrainian aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck 14 clusters of enemy personnel and equipment, one artillery system, and two command posts. The Ukrainian forces are inflicting significant losses on the Russian troops in both manpower and equipment while actively undermining the enemy’s offensive potential in the rear,” the General Staff emphasized.

As previously reported, Russia’s war casualties since February 24, 2022, to March 4, 2025, have amounted to approximately 879,410 personnel, including 1,340 in the past day alone.
