Three medical facilities were damaged in an overnight Russian drone attack on Kharkiv.

Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, said this at a press briefing on March 1, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"During the night, we had nine Shahed strikes in Kharkiv. All of them were shot down, but the debris fell, including on medical facilities. These include the regional dental hospital and the genetic center of the medical university. The damage is significant: two floors and the ceilings," Syniehubov said.

According to the regional governor, six high-rise buildings and two administrative buildings were also damaged.

Additionally, 54 people had to be evacuated from the psychoneurological dispensary. No one was injured during the attack.

"At the time of the strike, people were in the wards, in several departments. All of these people are immobile, requiring care and appropriate conditions," Syniehubov said.

He also stressed that the building of the regional clinical hospital had been damaged. This medical facility has been shelled by the invaders for the fourth time.

"Currently, the medical facility is operational. There are already agreements with international partners who will help restore the damaged medical facilities so they can continue providing services," Syniehubov said.

Earlier reports said that 12 people were injured in a Russian drone attack on Kharkiv, including two children. Seventy-five buildings were damaged in the city.
