Ukraine will not be left alone - von der Leyen
This was written by the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen on the social network X today, after the incident in the Oval Office of the White House. She made her post in Ukrainian, Ukrinform reports.
“Your dignity honors the bravery of the Ukrainian people. Be strong, be brave, be fearless. You will never be alone, dear President Zelensky. We will continue to work with you for a just and sustainable peace,” the post reads.
Similar texts were posted on social network X by the President of the European Council Antonio Costa and the President of the European Parliament Roberta Mecola.
As Ukrinform reported, President Zelensky left the White House early, and Ukraine and the United States did not sign the planned agreement.
