
Russians shell Marhanets with artillery, leaving four people wounded
This was reported by Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak, on Facebook, as per Ukrinform.
"Marhanets suffered the most from enemy terror. Since the evening, the aggressor has shelled the town several times with artillery," Lysak noted.
According to him, the victims include a 64-year-old woman and three men aged 22, 26, and 54. One of the injured was hospitalized in serious condition.
A fire broke out but was quickly extinguished by firefighters.
Damages include an educational institution, an administrative building, industrial and communal enterprises, eight shops, a cafe, and a legal aid center.
Additionally, eight apartment buildings and four private houses, a utility structure, a garage, a car, and an electricity line were damaged.
Furthermore, the Russians shelled villages in Marhanets and Myriv communities.
No casualties were reported, Lysak noted.
He also informed that overnight, units of the East Air Command destroyed two Russian drones over the region.
As Ukrinform reported, on February 16, the Russian forces attacked Nikopol district in Dnipropetrovsk region, killing one civilian.
