Russians attack port infrastructure in Odesa region with drones

The Russian forces launched a drone attack on Odesa region overnight.

According to Ukrinform, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) reported this on Facebook.

“The target was port infrastructure in the southern part of the region. Fires broke out at the impact sites; one person was injured,” the post reads.

The SES firefighters extinguished the fires, deploying 19 rescuers and four units of equipment.

The Odesa Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported on Telegram that port infrastructure in the Danube area, residential buildings, an educational institution, and vehicles were damaged in the attack.

A 51-year-old local woman was injured and hospitalized. According to Head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration Oleh Kiper, she suffered a shrapnel wound to the thigh.

Additionally, in Odesa district, the attack damaged a private household.

As previously reported, Ukraine’s Defense Forces shot down 85 Russian drones, while 52 enemy decoy UAVs were lost from tracking without causing damage.
