NATO Military Committee Chairman Giuseppe Cavo arrives in Kyiv

The chairman of the NATO Military Committee, Giuseppe Cavo Dragonet, has arrived in Kyiv.

This was announced on the social network X by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk, Ukrinform reports.

“I am pleased to welcome the Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, to Kyiv. We discussed defense cooperation. The Alliance will continue to support Ukraine,” he wrote.

Stefanchuk noted that Ukraine needs additional air defense systems, missiles and interceptors. In addition, Kyiv is counting on financial support to fulfill the obligations of its allies.

The official emphasized that it is important that the NATO initiative effectively coordinates assistance, and NATO membership, he said, is the only guarantee of security for Ukraine and Europe.

As reported, Italian Defense Minister Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone has replaced Admiral Rob Bauer as Chairman of the NATO Military Committee.
