Ukraine's State Emergency Service said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"According to preliminary reports, nine people were injured, including a child. Emergency rescue and search operations are ongoing," the post said.

Rescuers later recovered the bodies of two victims -- a man and a woman -- from the rubble.

The attack, which struck a ten-story residential building on January 30, destroyed nine apartments and 12 balconies. Emergency workers rescued four people, including a child, and evacuated 118 others.

Earlier reports indicated that seven people had been injured in the strike.
