Enemy shelling of Chervonyi Maiak in Kherson region leaves one dead

On the afternoon of January 19, a 24-year-old man was killed as a result of artillery shelling of the village of Chervonyi Maiak by Russian forces.

This was reported on Telegram by Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, as per Ukrinform.

"Around 14:00, enemy artillery targeted Chervonyi Maiak. A 24-year-old man sustained fatal injuries as a result of the shelling," the statement reads.

Prokudin noted that the man was outdoors at the time of the attack.

As reported by Ukrinform, in Kherson region, the village of Shliakhove suffered artillery strikes from Russian troops which damaged residential buildings.
