Ukraine downs seven Russian drones, six lost from radar

Units of Ukraine’s Defense Forces shot down seven Russian war drones, while six more were lost from radar overnight Saturday.

That’s according to the Ukrainian Air Force, Ukrinform reports.

Starting 21:30 on December 6, the Russians launched a missile strike on Sumy region, also launching 14 Shahed-type strike UAVs and drones of other types (from the Primorsk-Akhtarsk area).

As of 8:30, units of Ukraine’s air defense forces, electronic warfare and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces shot down seven enemy UAVs in Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Odesa, Cherkasy, and Zhytomyr regions.

Six drones were lost from radar, and one left Ukraine-controlled airspace back toward Russia.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, Russian invaders launched a missile strike on critical infrastructure in the town of Konotop, Sumy region.
