Up to 60 explosions reported in Chernihiv region over past 24 hours, casualties reported
This was reported on Telegram by Vyacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, according to Ukrinform.
“In the past 24 hours alone, there were 33 strikes on Chernihiv region—59 explosions,” Chaus said.
He noted that explosions were heard again in Chernihiv this morning—air defense systems were active. Yesterday, the regional capital was also under attack. Several drone strikes were recorded on administrative buildings, homes, and garages. Two civilians were hospitalized with moderate injuries.
The head of the Regional Military Administration added that private homes were damaged in the villages of the Kyselivka and Horodnia communities as a result of drone attacks.
In Semenivka, a strike by a “Molniia” missile damaged a Ukrposhta facility and several passenger cars.
As reported by Ukrinform, on the morning of April 14, Russian forces struck an administrative building in the center of Chernihiv with a “Shahed” drone, injuring two people.
