Russian troops shell Donetsk region 2,300 times in past day
This was reported by the regional police department, Ukrinform saw.
"Some 2,300 strikes last day... The police documented Russian war crimes. The enemy hit the residential sector with aerial bombs, missiles, rocket salvos, and artillery... Twenty-four civilian objects were destroyed – 19 residential buildings, cars, and critical infrastructure," the message says.
It is noted that the explosions occurred in 10 settlements: the towns of Kostiantynivka, Kurakhove, Lyman, Sloviansk, Chasiv Yar, and the villages of Zhelanne, Kurakhivka, Vesele, Vovche, and Lysivka.
The invaders dropped an UMPB D-30SN gliding bomb at Kostyantynivka, injuring one and damaging nine private houses and three cars.
In Sloviansk, a private house was damaged as a result of a missile hit.
According to law enforcement, Russian troops shelled Lyman using artillery, leaving six private houses damaged.
An airstrike destroyed a house in Zhelanne. One house each was damaged in Vovche and Kurakhivka.
The police and SBU initiated criminal proceedings under Art. 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
As reported, yesterday, June 4, Russian invaders left four residents in Donetsk region injured.
