Air defense forces destroy all eight enemy Shahed UAVs overnight
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
On the night of January 29, the enemy attacked Ukraine with eight Shahed-136/131 combat UAVs from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk area (Russia), one Iskander-M missile from the Voronezh region (Russia), as well as hit the Donetsk region with three S-300 missiles launched from the temporarily occupied part of the region.
The Air Force, in cooperation with the Air Defense Forces of Ukraine, shot down eight enemy UAVs in the Mykolaiv, Dnipro, Khmelnytskyi and Rivne regions.
Anti-aircraft missile units and mobile fire groups were involved in repelling the enemy air attack.
As reported by Ukrinform, on the night of January 29, air raid sirens sounded in the Poltava, Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Donetsk regions due to the threat of Russian ballistic missile use.
