Ukrainian air defense destroys Russian Kh-59 missile in Mykolaiv region

Air defense forces from Ukraine's Air Command South have destroyed a Kh-59 guided air missile in the southern Mykolaiv region.

The press service of the Ukrainian Southern Defense Forces reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"On January 25, 2024, in the Mykolaiv region, the air defense forces and means of the Air Command South destroyed a Kh-59 guided air missile launched by a Russian Su-34 fighter jet," the post said.

On January 24, Russian shelling damaged residential buildings in the village of Solonchaky in the Kutsurub community.
