Five civilians injured in Russian shelling of Kherson region in past day

In the Kherson region, Russian shelling injured five people, including two children, on January 6.

Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"The Russian military targeted residential neighborhoods in the region's settlements; an infrastructure facility in the Kherson district; territory of factories in Kherson. As a result of Russian aggression, 5 people were injured, including 2 children,” Prokudin wrote.

According to him, the enemy launched 89 shelling attacks and fired 382 shells from mortars, artillery, Grads, tanks, UAVs and aircraft. The enemy fired 24 shells at the city of Kherson.

As reported, in the Kherson region, the enemy fired at a civilian car, injuring two 9-year-old twin boys. A 58-year-old man was also wounded by shrapnel in the district.
