Russian kamikaze drones attack Kharkiv region’s Izium district

In the late hours of Monday, November 13, the Russian army launched six Shahed one-way attack drones at the Izium district in Kharkiv region.

As a result of the attack, a fire broke out at a civilian enterprise, says the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, Ukrinform reports.

"Yesterday evening, around 22:00, the enemy launched six Shahed-type kamikaze drones at the Izium district. As a result of the strike, a civilian enterprise was affected and a fire broke out. There were no casualties," the statement reads.

Also, during the day, Russian artillery, mortars, and other systems opened fire at the front-line and border settlements across the region.

Kozacha Lopan, Starytsia, Vovchansk, Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Berestove, and other settlements all came under fire.

In addition, as a result of the shelling of Kupiansk, the premises of the local dairy plant were affected. "There were no casualties among the civilian population," the official noted.

Meanwhile, State Emergency Service bomb squads inspected over 10.6 hectares of territory, neutralizing 84 explosive objects.

As of November 14, a total of 262 children had been evacuated from war-torn communities in the Kupiansk district. Another 30 children are awaiting evacuation.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, a Russian S-300 missile hit the area outside an entertainment facility in Kharkiv’s Shevchenkivskyi district on November 12.
