Russians shell two communities in Dnipropetrovsk region with heavy artillery

Russian troops shelled Nikopol district twice overnight Monday, using heavy artillery to fire at Marhanets and Chervona Hryhorivka communities.

Serhiy Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Since the evening, the aggressor shelled Nikopol district twice. Marhanets and Chervona Hryhorivka communities were hit with heavy artillery. More than half a dozen shells were fired," he said.

According to Lysak, the affected areas are still being examined. The consequences of the attacks are being investigated. According to preliminary information, no one was injured.

Earlier, the General Staff reported 69 combat clashes on the front lines in the past day. The enemy launched 7 missile attacks and 34 airstrikes, carried out 59 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.
