Russia moves missile carrier from the Sea of Azov to the Black Sea - army spox

A missile threat remains urgent for Ukraine as Russia keeps 12 warships on combat duty in the Black Sea, including a missile carrier.

That’s according to Natalia Humeniuk, the spokesperson for Ukraine’s Operational Command South, who spoke on the air of the national telethon, reports Ukrinform.

"A missile threat remains in place for Ukraine. A missile carrier is still on combat duty after performing a maneuver by moving from the Sea of Azov to the Black Sea... The enemy's naval group consists of 12 units," she said.

Humeniuk noted that, accordingly, the threat of another missile attack on the territory of Ukraine remains in place, while adding that a stormy weather has set in in the Black Sea.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on the night of Sunday, August 27, enemy bombers launched missiles of the Kh-101/555/55 type from the Caspian region.

All enemy missiles heading toward Kyiv were shot down on approach to Ukraine’s capital.
