Avdiivka, Donetsk region, came under two massive shelling attacks on Wednesday morning. Four streets in the city were hit.

Pavlo Kyrylenko, the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"In the Donetsk sector, Avdiivka was hit by two massive artillery attacks in the morning - four streets were hit," Kyrylenko said.

According to him, Vuhledar and Novoukrainka in the Volnovakha sector also came under enemy fire.

In the Komar direction, a former school and a shop in Iskra were damaged in enemy shelling. Krasnohorivka and Kostiantynivka in Marinka community were subjected to enemy fire as well.

The region’s administration head noted that in the Horlivka direction, as a result of the shelling, one person was injured in Pivnichne in Toretsk community, and a boiler house in New York was damaged.

In Chasiv Yar community, three multi-story buildings and three private houses were damaged. Vasiukivka and Rozdolivka of Soledar community were shelled by the enemy throughout the day.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Russian army killed three residents and wounded another four in Donetsk region yesterday, August 22.
