The death of soldier found near training ground being investigated in Zakarpattia

We are talking about Vasyl Stets, a football coach from Perechyn, a player for football club Zakarpattia, and a physical education teacher at Perechyn Lyceum before the war. After the full-scale invasion, the man served at the Uzhhorod District Center for Recruitment and Social Support.

The police confirm that the man was found near a training ground near Uzhhorod and taken to a hospital.

At the same time, the soldier's relatives posted on social media that he had a head injury when he was found. The man was unconscious and later died.

As reported, the mayor of Perechyn, Ivan Pohorilyak, expressed his condolences to the family over the death of the soldier.
