Kherson region receives 10 ambulances from Dnipro

The Kherson region has received 10 ambulances from Dnipro, which will be distributed among communities.

The Kherson Regional State Administration reported this, according to Ukrinform. 

"Medical vehicles of type B have arrived at the Kherson Regional Territorial Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine. The ambulances were provided by the Municipal Enterprise "Auto Enterprise of Sanitary Transport" of the Dnipro City Council," the statement reads.

As noted, the vehicles are equipped with all the necessary equipment and facilities to provide emergency care. The vehicles have several types of stretchers, evacuation chairs, blood pressure monitors, a pulse oximeter, stationary oxygen, an oxygen humidifier, an immobilization device, and more.

This allows for resuscitation measures to be carried out while transporting patients to a medical facility.

As emphasized, the ambulances will be distributed among the communities.

As reported, in the fall of 2022, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated the right-bank part of the Kherson region, including the city of Kherson. Part of the region, located on the left bank of the Dnipro River, is temporarily occupied by Russian troops.
