Enemy shells border area of Sumy region: 55 explosions recorded

The Russian forces shelled the border area of Sumy region four times overnight Thursday and today’s morning, 55 explosions were recorded.

This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration on Telegram, according to Ukrinform

"At night and in the morning, the enemy launched four attacks on border territories and settlements of Sumy region. 55 explosions were recorded. The communities of Bilopillia, Seredyno-Buda and Khotin came under shelling,” the report says.

The enemy fired mortars (27 explosions) and automatic grenade launchers (18 explosions) at Bilopillia community.

Russians dropped three mines on Seredyno-Buda.

"Khotin community: mortar shelling (seven explosions),” the administration reported.

According to preliminary information, there have been no civilian casualties or damage to civilian infrastructure.

As earlier reported by Ukrinform, on Wednesday, Russians shelled the border area of Sumy region 31 times. As many as 244 explosions were recorded. Krasnopillia, Myropillia, Seredyno-Buda, Bilopillia, Shalyhyne, Yunakivka, Mykolaivka communities came under fire.
