Russians shell Zaporizhzhia region 80 times in 24 hours, causing destruction

Over the past day, the enemy attacked the Zaporizhzhia region with artillery, drones and missiles. There are destructions.

Yuriy Malashko, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"Over the past day, the enemy struck 80 times at 20 settlements. 70 artillery attacks took place on the territory of Huliaipole, Novodarivka, Shcherbaky, Mala Tokmachka, Zaliznychne, Preobrazhenka, Olhivske, Poltavka, Temyrivka, Kamianske, Stepove, Novoyakovlivka and other villages on the line of fire," he said.

The Russian military also shelled Novoyakovlivka and Novodarivka with multiple rocket launchers and attacked Zaliznychne, Novodarivka, Charivne, Levadne and Piatykhatky with seven UAVs. The occupants fired a missile at the Zaporizhzhia district - the shell fell between two villages, but did not cause any damage.

There were 28 reports of the destruction of residential buildings, outbuildings and infrastructure.

As reported, the Russian army fired 78 times at the Kherson region over the past day, August 16.
